Imbolc/Brigids day

1000 welcomes everyone !!! Happy imbolc !!!! Today is my favorite holiday of the year! It's Brigids day! And as you know I am a daughter of Brigid. Today represents trying to say goodbye to the dark months and winter and to help welcome in spring ! It's a day of new life and new beginnings! One of which I'm very excited about in my life! Everyone has a different way of celebrating and honoring Brigid Today. Alot of people the night before imbolc will leave a ribbon outside hoping for Brigid to bless it. If she does you'll notice a slite change in the length of the ribbon. Some people leave out tea for her to drink. Some people leave a dusting in front of their front door to see if she walked through the home to bless it. And some like me make Brigid crosses the night before, then on Imbolc hang them around my home for blessings and protection. Today I lit my Brigid altar did some divination, thanked her tremendously for the blessing she has given me and everything she has helped me work so hard to achieve. For me today. It's a time of blessings. I'm so Thankful for my life and everyone in it. I couldn't be anymore blessed. Brigid is always with you. But it's up to you to do the work. And that's exactly what I'm trying to do. Do the work. Now tonight as I meditate, I'll ask her. What does she need me to do? What would she like me to do for her ? She may not answer me right away but she will make herself known. And for that I will be forever grateful. Have a blessed Imbolc everyone !!!! Slàn!!!!!!!!!!
